Softball Recap: Pocahontas Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Pocahontas never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the East Sac County Raiders with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering the Indians have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pocahontas' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for East Sac County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Pocahontas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Sac County, they have already played their next game, a 12-3 loss against Ridge View on the 3rd.
