Softball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Has No Trouble Against Hollis + How To Watch

Cheyenne/Reydon was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Hollis on Monday. The Bears blew past the Tigers 13-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bears needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Calli Taylor was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Lexy Niavez was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Cheyenne/Reydon hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive games.

Cheyenne/Reydon's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Hollis, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cheyenne/Reydon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hollis, they will welcome Hammon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
