The Lincoln Fighting Zebras won the last time they faced the Pleasant Grove Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lincoln snuck past Pleasant Grove with a 48-43 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Lincoln got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maya Hodge out in front who scored 23 points. The contest was Hodge's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isa Keidel, who scored 13 points.
Lincoln's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Pleasant Grove, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
