McGill-Toolen entered their tilt with Baker on Tuesday with 25 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 26. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Yellowjackets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McGill-Toolen took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-15.

Leading McGill-Toolen to victory were Alice Wood and Payton Mcclarren. Wood had three digs and two aces, while Mcclarren had nine digs and one assist. Wood is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: McGill-Toolen was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

McGill-Toolen's win bumped their record up to 32-2. As for Baker, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
