Recap: Beaumont United Timberwolves vs. Humble Wildcats
The Beaumont United Timberwolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Humble 110-60 on the road. Beaumont United has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Kayde Dotson, who went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 4 assists. He hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Clarence Payia was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds.
Beaumont United pushed their record up to 22-1 with that win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Humble, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
Beaumont United will head out on the road to square off against North Shore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Shore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Beaumont United is ranked ninth). As for Humble, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against King at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for King and five for Humble.
