Basketball Recap: Jannah Davis Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tulare Union

Liberty saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 43-32 win over the Tulare Union The Tribe.

Liberty got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jannah Davis out in front who went 6 of 10 on her way to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellee Statler, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Liberty smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Tulare Union still got an impressive performance from Kaiden Valdez, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Jazzlynn Miller was another key player, putting up seven points and eight rebounds.

Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Tulare Union, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-31 win against Edison on the 21st. As for Tulare Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-30 loss against Roosevelt on the 21st.
