Soccer Game Preview: Paramount vs. Saint Joseph

The Paramount Pirates will take on the Saint Joseph Jesters in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paramount's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Paramount is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Lynwood on Saturday. Paramount fell just short of Lynwood by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Saint Joseph's season-opener on Tuesday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor Downey could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Paramount's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. Saint Joseph's draw makes their record 0-0-1 this season.
