Basketball Recap: High School of the Future Takes a Loss

High School of the Future played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Tacony Academy Charter Lions 52-15. High School of the Future's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, High School of the Future saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Armani Langley posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Kylee Robinson, who scored seven points.

High School of the Future's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tacony Academy Charter, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High School of the Future will welcome Maritime Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. High School of the Future is facing Maritime Academy Charter at the right time seeing as Maritime Academy Charter is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tacony Academy Charter, they will square off against Paul Robeson at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
