Basketball Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Comes Up Short

Stone Ridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 40-27 to the Johansen Vikings.

Johansen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ana Viramontes led the charge by putting up ten points. Those ten points gave Viramontes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joy Ige, who posted 11 points.

Stone Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Johansen, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Stone Ridge Christian will head out on the road to challenge Buhach Colony at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. As for Johansen, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hughson at 7:00 p.m.
