Softball Recap: Holy Family Tigers vs. Regis Jesuit Raiders
Holy Family took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Regis Jesuit Raiders a 12-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.
Carly Tooley looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Jaelyn Sandoval was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Giuliana Magnetti, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Holy Family always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Regis Jesuit only posted an OBP of .143.
Regis Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Holy Family didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Valor Christian on the 16th. As for Regis Jesuit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-2 loss against Arapahoe on the 20th.
