Soccer Game Preview: Paso Robles vs. Righetti

The Paso Robles Bearcats will take on the Righetti Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paso Robles' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Paso Robles turned things around against Atascadero on Friday. Neither they nor the Greyhounds could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Bearcats have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Amayah Buenrostro, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Righetti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against St. Joseph, falling 3-0. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Warriors struggled afterwards.

Righetti's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-7. Paso Robles' draw gives them a new season record of 5-5-3.
