Football Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

If Centennial was feeling good fresh off their 40-17 takedown of Thornridge last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers were dealt a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Normal Community Ironmen on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Ironmen: they've now lost seven in a row.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Normal Community, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
