Midwest City got themselves on the board against Putnam City West on Thursday, but Putnam City West never followed suit. They blew past the Patriots 17-0. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Noreli Brown made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

In other batting news, Midwest City got a massive performance out of Addy Scott, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Scott has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Kadynce Berry was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Midwest City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .846. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Putnam City West only posted an OBP of .000.
