NorthWood kept a clean sheet against Merrillville on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pirates, sneaking past 1-0. NorthWood wouldn't have won without Tyler Frye, who scored the game-winner.

The win got NorthWood back to even at 2-2. As for Merrillville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, NorthWood will challenge Northridge at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Merrillville, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Andrean on the 25th.
