Basketball Recap: Sofie Addiego Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Saint Mary's

California won the last time they faced Saint Mary and things went their way on Saturday too. The California Grizzlies took down the Saint Mary's Panthers 59-45. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Panthers are ranked 236th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

California got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sofie Addiego out in front who went 6 for 13 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds. Lauren Yee was another key player, going 6 of 12 on her way to 17 points and six boards.
