Meanwhile, Lansdale Catholic put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bethlehem Catholic 60-23 on the road. Lansdale Catholic might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by 21 points or more this season.
Lansdale Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Boccella, who went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists. The match was Boccella's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Grace Mcdonough was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Bishop McDevitt's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lansdale Catholic, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Bishop McDevitt ended up a good deal behind Lansdale Catholic in their previous matchup back in March, losing 61-45. Can Bishop McDevitt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
