It was a good run, but Richmond Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bishop Kenny Crusaders by a score of 2-1.

Richmond Hill's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Bishop Kenny, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.

Coming up, Richmond Hill will challenge Providence School at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Kenny, they will face off against St. Joseph Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flashes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
