Soccer Recap: Elite Scholars Academy Takes a Loss

The Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights lost 6-2 to the Trion Bulldogs on Friday. The loss was the Royal Knights' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elite Scholars Academy fell to 2-1. As for Trion, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elite Scholars Academy will venture away from home to face off against Bowdon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elite Scholars Academy is facing Bowdon at the right time seeing as Bowdon is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trion, they are taking a road trip to take on Coahulla Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Coahulla Creek is on a three-game streak of home wins, Trion a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
