It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hayfork had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Big Valley Cardinals 54-15. The Timberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12  matches by 21  points or more this season.
Hayfork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Lydia Yarbrough led the charge by  dropping  a double-double with 12 points and 11  steals. The dominant performance gave  Yarbrough a new career-high in  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sophia Nanez, who  posted 16  points in addition to six  boards and three  steals.
 Hayfork  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 26  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 14  offensive rebounds in seven consecutive  contests.
Hayfork has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record  this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.3 points. Big Valley dropped their record down to 4-18 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Coming up, Hayfork will face off against Princeton at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Princeton will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Hayfork surely won't give up without a fight. Big Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
