Softball Recap: Forsyth Central Comes Up Short

Forsyth Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-4 to the Lumpkin County Indians. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 14-6 to the Indians when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Forsyth Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lumpkin County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Forsyth Central will be playing at home against Denmark at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lumpkin County, they will venture away from home to take on Greater Atlanta Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
