Soccer Game Preview: Carson vs. San Pedro

Carson hasn't had much luck against San Pedro recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Colts will challenge the Pirates at 4:30 p.m.

Carson is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Rancho Dominguez on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Carson needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, San Pedro hasn't lost a match since January 12th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They and Palisades finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked San Pedro's first draw of the season.

They hit Palisades with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Analissa Lope, Kobe Teofilo, and Molly Skolil.

With that draw, San Pedro's record moves to 18-7-1. As for Carson, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16-1.

Carson might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from San Pedro in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
