Peninsula hasn't had much luck against North recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Peninsula Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Saxons at 5:00 p.m.

Peninsula is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They fell 55-44 to West. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Warriors are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, North came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sea Hawks by a score of 52-45.

North's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.7 points. As for Peninsula, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
