Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Monache, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Palos Verdes by a score of 45-36 on Thursday.

Monache has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. Portola's record now sits at 19-15.
