Basketball Recap: Rizelle Copeland's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Frontier over El Dorado

If Frontier was feeling good fresh off their 72-42 takedown of Long Beach Poly on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Dorado Golden Hawks on Tuesday. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Frontier's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rizelle Copeland, who posted 15 points and seven boards. Copeland is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Nyeema Armstrong also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Frontier fell to 4-1. As for El Dorado, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.
