Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short

Wakefield was the 3-0 winner over George C. Marshall when they last played one another on September 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Statesmen on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 26-24.

Wakefield's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for George C. Marshall, they pushed their record up to 10-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
