Soccer Recap: Locust Grove Comes Up Short

Locust Grove managed to slip by Jackson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Red Devils on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Locust Grove's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Locust Grove has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Jackson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Locust Grove and Jackson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Wildcats see the pitch they'll take on Newnan at 7:45 p.m. on the 15th. As for Jackson, their break will end when they face Westside at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
