Soccer Game Preview: Effingham County vs. Camden County

The Effingham County Rebels will head out to challenge the Camden County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Effingham County is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Effingham County didn't have quite enough to beat Greenbrier and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Rebels have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Camden County hadn't done well against Tift County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Friday. Camden County put the hurt on Tift County with a sharp 4-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Dane Weaver and Angel Rivera scored all four of Camden County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Effingham County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Effingham County couldn't quite get it done against Camden County in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 2-0. Can Effingham County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
