Soccer Recap: Alcovy Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Alcovy duked it out with Piedmont Academy on Thursday. The Alcovy Tigers blew past the Piedmont Academy Cougars 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Cougars last Tuesday, they had to take a 9-8 loss.

Alcovy hit Piedmont Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Destin Cohran (2), Jacob Love, Angel Alvarez, and Antonio Ramos.

Alcovy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Piedmont Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Alcovy has already played their next contest, an 11-2 loss against Loganville on the 28th. As for Piedmont Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Covenant Academy on the 28th.
