It's playoff time, and Bishop Guilfoyle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Aquinas Academy Crusaders 58-27 on Wednesday. The Marauders are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 17 straight.

Despite the loss, Aquinas Academy still got an impressive performance from Elliot Keverline, who posted 17 points. Tess Duer was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bishop Guilfoyle's record now sits at 27-2. As for Aquinas Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.

Coming up, Bishop Guilfoyle will challenge Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy on Saturday. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 contests -- so hopefully Bishop Guilfoyle likes a good challenge. Aquinas Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
