The Arleta Mustangs and the West Ranch Wildcats squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Arleta Mustangs had to settle for second. They fell 55-45 to the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Arleta has lost by exactly ten points.

Arleta lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Justine Mejia, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Aaliyah Serpas was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Arleta and nudges their season record down to 21-12. As for West Ranch, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-13 record this season.
