Soccer Game Preview: Landmark Christian vs. Heritage

The Landmark Christian War Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Heritage Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Landmark Christian will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

If Landmark Christian beats Heritage with four goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Landmark Christian skirted past Mount Paran Christian 4-3. Given the War Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Eagles are ranked 279th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage). They came out on top against Grovetown by a score of 4-2 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly two goals.

The win made it two in a row for Heritage and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for Landmark Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
