 The Kokomo Wildkats will head out on the road to  square off against  the Frankfort Hot Dogs at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Kokomo is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 On Wednesday, Kokomo beat Lafayette Jefferson 7-3. Seven seems to be a good number for Kokomo as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 The team  relied heavily on  Chad Washburn, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Jude Rivers, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Frankfort might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  3-2 to Lebanon, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Frankfort has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Lalo Castillo was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.  Matthew Berry was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Kokomo's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Frankfort, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kokomo has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 2.8  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Frankfort struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 3. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Kokomo couldn't quite finish off Frankfort in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 and fell  7-5. Can Kokomo avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
