It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olathe West can now relate to. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olathe Northwest Ravens on Friday. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Olathe West still got an impressive performance from Sam Krzykowski, who rushed for 45 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 123 receiving yards. Krzykowski's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 123 receiving yards. Josh Foland was another key player, gaining 134 total yards.

Olathe West's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Olathe Northwest, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Olathe West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olathe Northwest, they will face off against Gardner-Edgerton on Friday. The Ravens will need to watch out since the Trailblazers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
