Soccer Recap: West Covina Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for West Covina after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Wilson Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

West Covina's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-4. As for Wilson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Covina will challenge Rowland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilson, they will take on Northview at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
