Sanger has gone 8-2 against Edison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sanger Apaches will square off against the Edison Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Sanger and six for Edison.

Last Tuesday, Sanger was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to Hoover.

Meanwhile, Edison came up short against Torres on Tuesday and fell 44-32. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 766th, while the Toros are ranked 256th).

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Sanger, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Sanger came up short against Edison when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 57-50. Can Sanger avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
