Encinal took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-6 win over Mt. Eden. The matchup marked the Jets' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Bishop O'Dowd against San Leandro on Thursday as the squad secured a 55-15 win. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won seven in a row.

Encinal's record is now 7-9. As for Bishop O'Dowd, their record now sits at 11-8.
