East Coweta came tearing into Monday's contest with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West Forsyth Wolverines a 7-0 shutout. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 games by six runs or more this season.

Kate Miller was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Payton Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

East Coweta's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for West Forsyth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season.
