Baseball Recap: Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy Comes Up Short

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Banks County Leopards. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Banks County this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-5 loss on Friday.

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Banks County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Rabun County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Banks County will take on rival Athens Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
