Edward Chumley Crosses Big Stat Threshold

On Friday, Anna got the W thanks in part to Edward Chumley playing the best football he has all season. Chumley rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.3) per game. He is becoming a predictor of Anna's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Lovejoy picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jacob Richard Janecek. Nobody could stop Richard Janecek as he threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

For the season, Richard Janecek has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 237.7 passing yards per game.

DJ Shelton Turns in Season-Best Performance

Emerson came up short on Friday despite DJ Shelton delivering his best game to date. Shelton threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards.

Hayes Hackney's big game helped extend Walnut Grove's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Hackney did his part (and then some), throwing for 263 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes for the 'W'. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Walnut Grove pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Hackney's next contest is against Anna on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Jaylen Butler Dazzles in Denison Win

Jaylen Butler helped snap Denison's six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Butler on Friday as he rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

Denison's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Butler and Denison are taking a road trip to take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
