Softball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside lost against Houston County on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Bears, falling 18-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madi Burch, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Houston County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7-1.

While Northside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
