Football Game Preview: Faribault vs. Northfield

Northfield are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Faribault on Friday at 7:00 PM. Northfield have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Northfield took their contest against John Marshall last week by a conclusive 40-14 score. With Northfield ahead 23-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Faribault ended up a good deal behind Winona when they played, losing 8-27. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Faribault.

Northfield's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Faribault's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Northfield's success rolls on or if Faribault are able to steal their positive momentum.
