Soccer Game Preview: University vs. Laguna Beach

The University Trojans will take on the Laguna Beach Breakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

University is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Northwood on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

Chloe Cho and Charlotte BeCkmann scored all three of University's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Laguna Beach was able to grind out a solid victory over Woodbridge on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

University's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 3-9-1. As for Laguna Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4-1.

University might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Laguna Beach in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can University avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
