Recap: Liberty Ranch Hawks vs. Sacramento Adventist Capitals
The Liberty Ranch Hawks waltzed into Wednesday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Sacramento Adventist by a score of 46-35. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, as Liberty Ranch did.
Liberty Ranch was led to victory by Haley Smith and Madisyn Robbins. Smith scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds, while Robbins dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. The game was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Mccoy, who scored 9 points.
Sacramento Adventist's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyla Friedrich, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Gwen Rosich, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Liberty Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sacramento Adventist, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Liberty Ranch's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ponderosa at 3:30 p.m. on November 30th. As for Sacramento Adventist, they will be playing at home against Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
