Baseball Recap: Mays' Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Mays won against Creekside last Monday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Raiders beat the Seminoles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten runs or more this season.

Ronald Tucker and Christopher Willis did most of the damage at the plate: Tucker scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Willis scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Tucker has become a key player for Mays: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-13 otherwise. TyReon Byner was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

The win (which was Mays' sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-14. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Creekside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

As of now, neither Mays nor the Seminoles have any future games scheduled.
