Softball Recap: Southeast Bulloch Takes a Loss

If Southeast Bulloch was riding high fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Bryan County on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellow Jackets fell 6-1 to the Appling County Pirates on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellow Jackets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

Southeast Bulloch's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Appling County, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast Bulloch will host Burke County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Appling County, they will be playing at home against Ware County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
