Berean Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mt. Diablo Red Devils a 6-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Mt. Diablo from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Angie Chang led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Berean Christian pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Mt. Diablo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16-1.

Looking ahead, Berean Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Concord at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Mt. Diablo, they will face off against Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
