Volleyball Recap: Novi Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Mallory Stoy and Myla Bellavoine

Novi was the 2-0 winner over Milford when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Myla Bellavoine and Mallory Stoy certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Bellavoine had nine digs and three aces, while Stoy had seven digs and four assists.

Novi's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6-1 record this season.

Novi didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hartland on the 14th. As for Milford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Clarkston on the 11th.
