Softball Recap: Earlsboro Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Earlsboro faced off against Konawa on Thursday. The Wildcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avaleigh Fields made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Earlsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Konawa, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Earlsboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-4 win against Maud on the 18th. As for Konawa, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Bristow on the 20th.
