Water Valley won the last time they faced South Pontotoc and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Devils managed a 29-23 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Zae Bradford was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 273 yards and three TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (161.9). Shaddai Freeman also helped out as he racked up 130 receiving yards.
