Basketball Recap: Jaci Crick and Brooklynn Nash Secure Win for Mississinewa

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alexandria-Monroe, Mississinewa was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They strolled past the Elwood Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 51-33. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Mississinewa was led to victory by Brooklynn Nash and Jaci Crick. Nash went 7 of 12 on her way to 20 points and five steals, while Crick posted 14 points and five rebounds. Those 20 points gave Nash a new career-high. Emma Wakeman was another key player, putting up six points.

Mississinewa's record is now 9-12. As for Elwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Mississinewa will welcome Frankton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elwood, they will challenge Daleville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
